As a child, he watched demons ravaged through his village and exterminated almost everyone until they were saved by hunters, who specialise in taking down supernatural forces that normal humans don't have the skills and tools to.

He trained to become a hunter and as years came by, his mind stayed on the demons that took away his parents. As he came to age, he decided the only way to fuel his burning desire of avengement was to become a demon hunter, only hunting down demons whether their intentions were good or not.

 

This was how he met Fehh, the guardian demon who was watching their last human passed away. His mind was raging as he watched the child's body crumbled to dust and their soul led by the grim reaper to the other side. As he swung his katana down on the demon, he was surprised when it was deflected and left his grip and he realised, this demon was different from all the other demons he took down.

With this meeting, that's how Aren wariness lessened and their obtuse friendship began. Fehh would occassionally assist him with demons causing trouble while Aren assisted them with protecting their human they were in charge with. Though to this day, he hasn't wrapped his head on the twisted idea of a guardian demon and not a guardian angel.
